Do you know when the promotion ends? The wide availability is really my reason for considering it, I will be traveling to EU in late summer (last week of Aug) and I generally expect very few sales during that time, so am very close to pulling the trigger here.....
Could anyone 1) provide me details when the promotion ends and 2) comment on availability of LAX to EU (anywhere really) for late summer travel?

3/23/2018: It seems Air New Zealand do offer promotions from time to time. I waited from the previous ones, but pulled the trigger yesterday.

They had a web sale called the "Spring Australia Sale - 3 Days only" and it ended yesterday. The prices are very similar from your previous posting below. I figured the prices aren't going any lower ...

SFO - MEL
Travel dates: End of July to mid August.
Adult price: $829 + $153 taxes = $982
Kid price: $622 + $106 taxes = $728

NOTE: We're also trying the "Skycouch" [3 econ seats converted into a small flat bed] for $200 one-way and see if that will work for us. Some reviews mentioned it may not work for some people, but we'll give it a try.
