Fakespot rating at C, but with only 12 reviews. Can anyone chime in with any experience with this? I've been waiting for another Craftsman rubber hose deal for a dehumidifier drain in the basement. Unless there are any drawbacks with this kind of hose (material, etc) I could just get this and cut it to length.

The ribs in the hose will accumulate mold in your application. Best bet is the clear hose sold by the foot at HD, Lowe's, etc. you can observe the flow and accumulation of deposits and replace as needed.

Ehh... I don't see why you wouldn't just wait for a craftsman rubber hose deal, they are going to be a far better hose.

I did not consider the ribbing - you're absolutely right. And I had no idea they made clear hoses. Thanks for the awesome suggestion.Applause

edit: I thought you meant clear garden hose, lol. I see what you mean, now. Still a great idea Smilie

Umm, OP title line indicates this is 50 INCHES (") Might wanna fix that... I can only assume this is really a 50 FOOT hose, I'm not picturing much use for a 4 foot 2 hose?

"Notice
Please do not use with a pressure washer because such a water pressure of water pump will destroy the hose to be exploded."

Description reads that the inside diameter of the hose is less than a 1/4-inch and that the hose only expands in length. There would be a significant decrease in water flow. Just an example, a 25-foot, 1/2-inch diameter hose attached to a faucet that supplies water at 40 psi has a flow rate of 24 gallons per minute, while a 100-foot hose only has a flow rate of 6 gallons per minute. Maybe something to consider if you're looking for flow rate.

If no hurry, and you don't require this style of hose, might I suggest waiting for the often on sale Craftsman rubber hoses from Sears. $19.99 for 50 ft around every couple months.
Long life and premium quality.
I own them in both the 50 ft, and 100 ft lengths. 100 ft goes for $39.99 or possibly even less, when a sale hits.
