I don't post often but just wanted to let everyone know Lowe's has a table saw for $99 free shipping if you can't get one in store

Store says one day sale only not sure if same for online.

Pretty bad table saw, motor burnt out in less than a month of usage. Ended up returning and grabbing a refurb ryobi for the same price.

Have this saw and at best it is OK for the money.
However, the motor bearings on mine were pretty sloppy from new and when I went to replace it at Lowes 2 others were the same. (raise up the saw blade, then try to move the blade side to side perpendicular to rotation - should be zero lateral movement)
As long as its limitations are known this saw can still be used but the issue is potentially dangerous and worth keeping an eye on.
If you need a saw for precise cuts, I'd look elsewhere

Side to side movement? You sure the arbor was tight and it wasnt a wobbling dado blade or something that just sounds downright dangerous.

yes i'm sure. Seen it before on cheaper tools. The motor shaft bearing has too much tolerance. Eventually as it wears, if it doesn't jam something you're cutting, you'll smell a burn as the rotor and stator interfere

I inherited my dad's 1980's era 9" craftsman that I cant find a blade for so I jammed a 10" in there. only drawback is it doesn't fully raise or lower. the bevels are done with a manual crank and I have to turn a handle to tighten the fence. everytime I see a deal on a new saw I start to look at all the bells and whistles and say fcuk it im good with what I have. I put it on one of those cheap rolling cabinets and store all my goodies inside it. put a roller stand on the outfeed and im good to go. cuts like butter and just does work.
