I've been looking for a decent deal to replace my 10 year old Thermaltake Tough power. Getting nervous an' all. Just bought it and I live 5 minutes from the Indy location, so I get to pick it up today!

Not sure I've ever seen an RGB psu. Is it customizable via software? If so do you connect it via SATA or something? This seems weird but also wonderful.

Would love to put this on the current build I'm working on but I'm not sure if I should just pull the trigger or wait it out

It's just one of their RGB Riing fans inside. The button to change the color is on the outside of the PSU.

I think theres like 4-5 preset colors, then a mode that fades through each color and off.

Can you turn the led off if you don't want color?

There's a power switch on the outside of the psu to turn off RGB

How does this compared to the seasonic focus plus 650W that was for $55 AR? Not sure how well the quality is compared with seasonic. RGB psu would be nice to have.

Thermaltake is reputable, especially the tough power grand series. So quality should be similar

rated for 54A on the 12V rail so yes - depending on the HDDs and other peripherals
