i dunno. i didn't look really hard but at first glance, those prices seem kinda regular or a bit high. and what's with the "voice compatible" nonsense? that's no way to sell these home automation bulbs. Frown
What are you talking about? Everyone in home automation lists their Alexa / Google Home compatible products as "Voice Compatible" on them. Amazon puts that notice in the product listing TWICE, even. Once in the title, and again on a graphic right below the title on the product's page. Anywho ....

Thanks a bunch, OP. I've been needing some candelabra bulbs, which never get included in the regular promotions. You just saved me $70, buddy! Very much appreciated.

Some of the products have the prices increased to above the average sale price. I see the strips aren't $50 anymore.

Those candelabra bulbs are obscene. I have a lamp that calls for 5 of them, so $250 (MSRP) to load it with Hue bulbs. No thank you.

Seems ok. I'm waiting for the white ambiance kit to go to $100 again.

I went on jan1 and did this deal. 20% does provide a slick deal for BR30 bulbs. I don't see any history of those being any cheaper. I just did 6 for recessed lights in living room.
The starter kits are not a good deal even with 20% off. Amazon had them way cheaper around Cyber Monday using the Alexa voice shopping.

Wow those are expensive. First time I have seen e12 hues. I used e12 to e26 convertors and put regular a19 hues in my ceiling fan.

I think it is misleading. The website seems to reflect the following, at least for the A19 white:

If you have 2 in your cart, 15% off the next.
If you have 3 in your cart, 20% off the next.
If you have 4 or more in your cart, 20% off the next.

Still seems like an OK deal for the A19 considering they start at $12.99.

Further Investigation: Looks like that is only for the A19. Trying other items showed the correct amount in cart.

As long as bulbs don't show, adapters are the way to go.

I did the same with some GU24 outlets. Wouldn't work for my E12 though too tight for both the adapter and the big bulb. Ah well, can't have everything be smart or my house will take over the world.

BR30's were ~ $30 via Alexa ordering around black friday. They were $37 up until a week ago via Alexa as well.

If you are willing to buy 4 items, this can turn a few of them into reasonable sale prices. The 4-pack White starter kit goes down to the $60 we're now used to. Then some items otherwise never go on sale...though those items seems outrageously priced to begin with. As much as I need a $250 table lamp.
