24 pack!!! What are these used in so commonly? I had to replace a 2025 in my car's key fob after 2 years.

They're typically used in car key fobs/remotes like you said. The one promotional flashlight that I received a while ago as a freebie from some tobacco company also uses them. I'm sure there's also some other regularly used devices around the house that use these.

As arunciks also pointed out medical devices like blood glucose meters also typically use them.

Ah okay. My SmartThings sensors use a larger dia batteries. Forget the size. I was contemplating buying a multipack but did not since those sensors won't be able to use these batteries.
I've also read mixed reviews about swapping the 2016 2025 and 2032 batteries. Some devices don't allow for it. Not sure though.

Many older style garage door clickers also use the 2032. The bluetooth media button's on ebay that link to your phone and let you pause, ff, rew music use them. Some Weight scales. Some remotes us as hdmi switches. 3d glasses for tv's that support active frame rate glasses. It's a pretty handy set to have on hand. They sell for 2 for $1 at the local dollar tree's(although many of the dollar stores are now carrying 2025 which provide the same voltage but about 1/2 the life/amperage of the 2032's. A 2025 is also about 1/2 as thick as a 2032) to give a perspective on cost and seem to hold their charge pretty well for long periods of time.

Or, just buy a two pack for a dollar at the Dollar Tree.

Expiration date? I never buy batteries without knowing the expiration date, as many old batteries are the ones blown out for these "deals".
