Lowest price I've ever seen on this ceramic-titanium nonstick pan which is 100% free of PFOA and PFOS toxins... here's the link :

As a reference here's a link to the same item at Sur LA Table... lots of good Q&A and reviews in case you're interested...

The pan is aluminum... the coating is a ceramic-titanium... not the old teflon that gives cancer...

I have this and it's awesome. We were surprised by how well you can brown things on it. Also note that the rivet doesn't show in the pan, making it just that much easier to clean. One last little thing is that it's oven safe (even with that handle) to 500 degrees (we just had it in the oven at 450 yesterday, actually).

are titanium coated ones the norm for scanpans? i have 3 scanpans all started sticking after a month of usage. Rather just buy cheap Tfals and throw them away when done.

Sure....It's just made of the new ceramic-titanium that probably causes something we won't hear about for 15 years.

Wonder how easy or difficult to claim warranty on this assuming the titanium ceramic coating ever comes off.

Edit: from a reviewer in consumerreports:
We have owned a 10 inch Scanpan frypan for over 10 years. It STILL performs like it did when we first obtained it. You cannot go wrong with Scanpan. It has changed color, gotten darker over the years, but that is all. Nevertheless, I called Scanpan today and told them it was working great but looked a little "ratty" and they are replacing it for free!! THAT is what I call service.

Try other sellers, Amazon is still an option at $29.99. Ships in 1-2 months though
