Bought it last time. Crappy quality. The arm is not strong enough to hold a large phone.

Suction cup sucks... Not in a good way. Phone kept falling down.

Its a dummy idea to design a long arm, it's much less safer during a car accident and the longer arm breaks the suction more often under vibration.

How is the cradle portion? Any good? The cradle appears to use a Richter mount, which is what I need. I'd be throwing the arm away in any case.

Go with an iOttie product instead, you won't be sorry. Product quality is top notch.

Only problem I see with this is that if you have a phone like Note 8 where the headphone jack is in the bottom corner you cant have a an aux or headphone cable plugged in when mounted since the bottom support is non adjustable and will get in the way of the port. That's why I recommend a mount with adjustable support at the bottom, gives you more flexibility for anything you want to connect to your phone other than the charger!

I doubt the long arm could pass vehicle safety test.

Be careful.

I ordered one previously. I've used it for about half a year now. Here are things I've experienced.

CONS
-The release button gets stuck, so I have to keep pressing it until it releases. Worked 'ok' initially - not 'good.' The release is definitely not as smoothe as an ottie.
- Sometimes my phone slides downward if I place it in haphazardly.
- If you have buttons on the side of your phone, the cradle arms may potentially cover/press them if you don't position your phone right.

PROS
- When I do place it right, it can hold my s7 with a Unicorn Beetle hard case.
- Never had problems with the arm - it sits surprisingly very sturdy. I have it hovering over my ac vent so it kinda helps keeps my phone cool. Huge perk when driving under So Cal sun.
- Good budget option.

I'm noticing now that this device has a flap at the bottom that keeps it from slipping down. Either it's an design update, or I've never noticed it on mine. Ha. Anyway, now you know it can potentially hold your phone up, even without it.

I would buy one again, or one with a similar design if I knew the release button worked better.
