XBOX Live Gold 12 months for $47.99 @CDkeys.com

I have been waiting for a 12 month XBOX Live Gold membership deal for a few weeks now and missed out on the few that I came across. cdkeys.com has a 12 month membership for $47.99. It's not the best but every store near me has it for full price ($59.99). I see some websites have it for less but their reviews are not that good. I have used cdkeys.com in the past and had no problems. I just bought a 12 month key and I activated it on microsoft's website without issue. I got my key less than 3 minutes after I bought it. Hope this deal helps someone else.

I just purchase from the last shady deal and got it to work.

If I purchase this, can you stack to current subscription or will you have to wait till subscription runs out.?

Mine is set to expire 01/2019

So if stacking is possible, would like to purchase this to have it expire on 01/2020

You can stack up to 3 years. If you just bought one though you should wait, you'll be able to get it cheaper than this.

I got this yesterday and was able to use code CDK36454 for a little bit more of a discount.

Piece of mind, even if the other was slightly cheaper. I've used cdkeys every year and never had a problem.

Why would you buy this if your account isn't going to expire immediately?

The price you should be buying at is $40 not $48.

Good price for 12 months is 39.99. This is still way above that amount. I see the $40 dollar deals pop every month or two. I even got one offered to me through the Xbox console once. This is only worth it if your membership is expiring today or tomorrow.

Some people are having success with $39.99 Plus tax direct through Microsoft if your account is close to expiration. You will also have to turn off auto reorder. That one is ymmv

I'm close to a free year through MS Rewards. Just use Bing to search and you can get 270 points a day; when you get to 29k points you can get a year for free. After a few months of doing this, I'm at 19k.

How do you get that much points in a day! Isn't there a 100 point limit per day?

This might be okay if you are in desperate need. Otherwise, I'd wait for a deal in the $40-ish or less range. For those with expired accounts, you can try the $1 for a month deal to buy some time. Previously posted here for more info:

Points for mobile searches, desktop searches, and for using edge to do those searches. My daily base is 370 + the bonus quizzes or emails that come out every few days. You have to be level 2, but I think that takes only 500 points in a month.

No, there's no daily limit that I'm aware of. Afterall, it's all determined / controlled by MS. I've got over 170,000 points built up. Planning to use toward and XBox One at some point... when the right deal combo comes along (sale of GC vs price at whichever store).

It's easy to get at least 250 a day in points, and often more. You can get 150 daily for PC searches, and another 100 for mobile Bing searches, And more for Edge searches if using Win10. Plus, random links for an extra 10 or more appear almost daily, and periodic quizes for another 30-50. Additionally, you'll get emails with links to click for more (typically, a few times a month). So, if you're diligent with doing it daily, it doesn't take too long to start building up some points. You can get a year of XBox Live Gold for 29,000 points right now, considerably better than this deal, imo (i.e., equates to roughly $28 in point value, based on $5 MS GC being offered at 5250 points).

Edit: You can also get a $100 MS GC for 91,000 points right now, so I'm close to getting 2 of those. But, the MS GC go on sale at times, so I'd probably try to wait for that before getting it / them. For example, they were 30% off recently ($10 for 7000 pts ea). You can search for the SD threads on it for more details.

I've been waiting for a sub-$40 deal for a while. I had to order because mine expired yesterday and I never got a message from MS about a deal...

My 1 month Xbox gold subscription will expire on 1/20. Any luck on how to score a $39.99 1 year membership? 😐
