Good grief. Why are airtight plastic containers so expensive? I get some at Dollar store for a buck. This stuff is grossly overpriced. Any alternatives? I'm not paying $10-$15 per container for a plastic.

Not sure why but the "Buy Now" button takes me to the Express clothing store. The link under details works though.

Looks like the lowest price for these on triple camel 🐪 was $37.77 in April 2017. It's been steady at $66. Seems extremely pricey.

in this case all I can this is because they're pretty?

I just buy the stuff restaurants use, not quite $1 cheap, but cheap, and I like that they have volume measurements on the side. Plus if they can withstand restaurant use they'll have no problems lasting forever in my kitchen.

I usually buy Rubbermaid which isn't the cheapest either but it's far more reasonable than some of this stuff on Amazon. Who the hell pays $66 for a small set of airtight container? LOL.

Guess I'll be back to the Dollar store as I can't seem to find anything decent that isn't outrageously priced.
