Flat network cables are more prone to interference. Only use these if regular twisted cables are not an option.

I've read flat cables can pick up interference and they are not recommended for long runs.

What length would you consider to be long?

I use a 25' flat white run along the ceiling so that I could center mount an AP on a rental without putting holes in the wall.

Has worked flawless for me and looks pretty good once installed.

Cheaper and better quality components if you just buy normal and have your wife lay on a different section of the cable each night until the desired length is flat.

What did you use to install/attach to ceiling?
