Decent deal; however, I personally avoid Muscle and Fiction 😉. I recommend t-nation dot com for some excellent free content from various world class trainers and a helpful community. Not hatin', just my 2 cents.

Lots of ads but some good content. Speaking of which, bummed out that I had to pay 3X the price for old formula Mesomorph today.

As much as I agree with you on muscle and fitness, or any fitness magazine for that matter, T-Nation is pretty terrible these days and wouldn't hold them much higher than these magazines.

that's because the owner of the mag is a supplement maker . . .

besides hitting you with ads the articles that they have are not even worth it. you can find so much more online nowadays.

but the truth still stands, unless you are taking steroids you will NEVER be as big as anyone on the MF cover.

conclusion, only a moron will pay for this bs mag.

So,

I have been reading this magazine off and on for almost 30 years now (???). Not so much in the last few years.

There are a SMATTERING of useful articles for the "average reader".

Just be honest with yourself. If you follow (whoevers) workout regimen, you aren't going to look like them. Period. End of.

Nothing "natural" going on here. It can be informative and "inspirational", I guess. Four dollars and fifty cents is MORE than a solid price.

All fitness magazines are just a rehash of everything else. Eat well, take in the right amount of calories based on your goal, work various muscle groups according to exercise guidelines and mix in cardio a few days a week and you'll be good. Do it consistently, have the odd cheat meal and avoid fad diets. These magazines make things seem so complicated and end up frustrating people more often than they help in my opinion.
