This is 2018, not 1980. Dissing Chinese manufacturing isn't going to make US production more competitive, and many of the remaining "US made" tools are just final assembly, with the vast majority of parts from overseas (looking at you, Dewalt). China is the world leader in manufacturing.

Besides, have you ever actually used an Extreme Grip product? The Extreme Grip line is excellent quality, and probably affordable only because of Chinese manufacturing. The screw drivers for example are really good (I prefer them to Wera or Klein).

Been using this tool regularly for over 2 years now. I too ha e been frustrated by gimmick tools, but this isn't one of them! This tool is excellent quality and works where every other tool has failed. This works great when someone before you didn't use the right tool for the job, and messes it up! Will this work on everything
NO. What tool does. On the Chinese debate. Hey I hate that everything went to Chinese manufacturing. But wishing it was USA made didn't change the fact it's still a good tool. There are good and bad tools made in China, and there were plenty of crap tools made in USA too! Most of my German tools are nicer than the USA stuff. So IMHO for 10 give this a whirl if it saves you a time or two it was well worth it. Oh I know some already mentioned tie rod end removal being great. This is also fantastic for water valves frozen on pipes on your house. The auto adjust and leverage from the length does the trick!

No. It's "cashback in points"

A stupid and misleading marketing gimmick IMO, but they've committed to it. I preferred the simple "back in points"

With the "I didn't even know I had them" points it was $12 and change. Repped.

I bought one of these awhile back. I don't care for it. The distance that the wrench opens when the lock is released is very slight.

That can pretty much sum up the entire SYW platform... Stupid and misleading, but they've committed to it.
