While deciding between K400 and K400 Plus, keep in mind that Plus version has tiny half-sized UP and DOWN arrow keys. It can be really annoying to browse the net with those.
Also keep in mind that the non-Plus version has the up-arrow key where the right shift key usually is. It can be really annoying to touch type with those.

A lot of people use this or the K400 plus for their HTPC.

Using wireless keyboard is much better than trying to use the TV remote for browsing.

I'm just letting folks know that this particular one works for browsing with my 1-year old smart Samsung TV.

In pic below, notice the differences in some of the keys sizes (SHIFT, UP, DOWN) between K400 and K400 Plus. Decide what you prefer.

If you are using this keyboard for your tv, keep in mind it will only work with the internet browser. None of the apps have support for the keyboard. I bought one last year thinking how much faster it would be for YouTube and other apps but was very disappointed. Keyboard itself and the range is great.

Most apps don't work, but I've heard netflix does on LG TVs?

It has been this price for a while.. I wanted to PM at Staples or OD/OM but, oos.. It is at bb for $19 right now so PM to Walmart.

The Plus version shows up at BB for about one or two bucks more often than not,so it is a deal, but not a bigly HUGE deal.. I PMed the plus at OD/OM the last week. BB had them for $19

Works fine with Amazon Fire TV (not stick unless you get one of those USB2GO dongles)

I'm waiting for the K830 again for $39-$44 , I already have the K400 but I want a backlit, and want to try and connect it via wireless to htpc and bluetooth to Fire

This is a good deal though if you do not care about backlighting.

fwiw, These have the donle extender, the plus does not. They say it improves range, and I concure. It also is harder to loose the dongle! I should know, I lost 2 without the extenders...
