This is a pretty good deal considering its a full HD screen. This will be pretty slow for most people but if you want a nice screen might be worth a shot. It is refurbished so could be hit or miss with heavy or no signs of use. They seem to be a reliable company on my searches. I ordered one for $10 bucks cheaper on New years Day but didnt have time to post and the deal clock was almost up anyway. The model number does change when added to the cart but I called customer service and they assured me that is the 11.6 inch model thats being shipped (NS-P11W7100).

Also available thru same seller on amazon with prime shipping for 84.99 and another seller has it for 83.99 with prime shipping.

Sells for $199 regular price at Bestbuy.

ITs a good price, but refuse to ever buy a Windows machine again with only 2GB ram.

For those interested Amazon lists more info regarding the model: https://www.amazon.com/Insignia-T...B01N4CGDTI [amazon.com]

Also A4C lists it has FHD(1080p), but in description it lists it as 1280x800, which is false according to the info on bestbuy and amazon. It is FHD not 720p
Yeah never again will i get a windows pc with 2gb ram and this weak atom processor.

lol, for $79 what the fark do you expect..
Walmart had a good deal on hp notebook x2 with active pen 4gb ram and 64 gb storage and even stereo speakers. The thing was very fast for basic computing. I sold it for a profit on Craiglist, but its not hard to get a really good deal for around $150

Yes, Atom + 2gb RAM is going to be slow. Don't expect to play games in this other than patience or stuff like that. However if you do a good work to strip things down it should be nice for browsing, reading and lite document editing... I assume it would also be a good thing to travel with. No, it's not meant as a replacement for your primary Laptop. Folks who expect that should move on to another deal.

Btw - here's a picture (from eBay) of the main board for those interested:

From the looks of it there's no way to upgrade ram or disk. I think the connector on the right side is for a ribbon cable, not for ram (unless I'm mistaken).

sounds like a product one would mostly end up regretting.

Get a used laptop off ebay or somewhere. These things just don't have enough RAM or CPU power.

Yes I do. I updated it and lost sound through the internal speakers. Not to mention it's slower than slow.

Yes since you get more than twice and actually get machine that you can use and that too brand new vs this junk! Guess you are not a smart cookie!

I bought one also. Watched a streaming movie for the first time with it today. It was barely passable. Pretty much my baseline is it needs to be able to stream video. The battery life on this HP is awesome though.

Guessing that this $80 would have a hard time with playing a video?

Thanks OP. Got one. It'll be a nice upgrade from an older mini-tablet I had before - which was much worse than this (1gb ram, 16gb storage only, low-res display). I use mine mostly to read e-mail, ebooks and some light browsing before going to sleep. I expect this one will be much nicer!

Was also a good way to use my $10 PayPal credit from the December promotion... I had NO IDEA how I was going to use it and it expires on the 15th for those who managed to get it. If you pay this with PayPal it gets added as promotion credit.

Also - don't forget 6% cashback !!!!
Hey, cashback sites are new to me. Which one do you use or how did you get 6% cash back?
