How about putting price in the title? Anyways, not a slick deal listed as $2,299 this is close to what it normally goes for and has been on here for $2K before. TD

While $2,299 is not a bad price, as others have posted, it's been available close to $2,000 since Black Friday and is available here [ebay.com] for $2,249.

Some people (such as myself) are not comfortable buying such a large purchase from an ebay seller and would gladly spend an extra $50 from a legit LG authorized reseller from a very well-known company such as B&H

The $2,000 price is a rare negotiation price with a certain company, otherwise, that same company does sell it for $2,199 when in stock.

I'm in the market for a 64" 4k TV right now. I was looking at the one for $2000 at best buy right now. Is their any draw backs to an OLED? I've heard that blacks are amazing like an OLED cell phone or monitor. It would be for Netflix, Youtube, and the Playstation 4.

Should I be jumping at this for an extra $300?!

Why?

A) Being a "legit authorized reseller" means literally nothing to LG for warranty purposes.

B) Ebay sellers are typically simply drop-shipping from the same actual dealers that actual dealers do (mostly folks report getting theirs from buydig/beach)

C) Even if you ignore A and B, it's been cheaper from a legit authorized reseller too- at least 2 different ones in fact- Beach- where you just had to call them to get it from one (or use Greentoe), or physically go into the store and ask with the other (Frys).

Again- if you see an LG OLED advertised (not ebay) for a given price, that guarantees you will be able to buy it cheaper from someone else who is dodging the MAP policy but still selling you exactly the same thing with exactly the same warranty.

The B7 at least has been about that cheap after Price Protection (cheaper in fact if you got the Frys deal)

I don't have a Fry's anywhere near me, and those deals at Beach are limited and require negotiating.

Regarding eBay, like I said, not everyone is comfortable with this method. I won't bash them, as I know many SD'ers love eBay, but I'm not one of them.
