I bought the DeLonghi MG7307CM Safeheat 1500W ComforTemp Portable Oil Filled Radiator for $27.58 back on April 2013. I am not sure if there's that much difference for that much of a price difference other than season ending sale.

I'm not sure what kind I recently bought but I was extremely disappointed with it. I can get more heat from a heating pad. I'm taking it back.

I bought our Oil Filled Radiators for $10 at the end of the season at Target.

BTW, they are all the same, they all have oil, are radiators and have a heating element that is limited in wattage by wall outlets only being able to safety handle 1500 watts continuous draw; therefore, the radiators are all 1500 watts.

You don't understand the purpose of a radiator, it is a device that adds heat to a whole room, if the room is too big it will be a drop in the ocean effect.

If you want to feel the heat directly on you a radiator is not the device that will do that. You need a heater that blows on you or a radiant heater that directs the heat towards you.

The foregoing being said a radiator heater is the most efficient way to heat a small room.

Bought one at BB in July, 2013, (off season) for $32.xx OTD Deal of the day, still cookin'. I bought for a small bedroom, heats it up in about 8-minutes. Have used in a medium-large open area mobile home living room and it heats up in about 20-minutes but have to lug it to the room. Worth it if they ever had it in stock.

I have had good luck with oil filled heaters. This model there is a few things which might be happening...

1) It was not left on long enough or the room was warmer than the set temperature.

2) The outer fins stay relatively cool.

3) Unit was defective

There is an off chance the placement in the room was a poor location. They normally work best between you and the coldest part of the room or near you.
