Entry level board. 7 VLM Power Phase, 2 M2, Intel NIC, WiFi, Creative Sound,
Pretty comparable to the ASRock Z370 Killer SLI/AC mentioned previously.

Can a z370 board work on a 6400 since they're both 1151?

This is one of their entry level boards. Plus, since this is the enthusiast level Z chipset, it is expected that everyone will use a discrete GPU.

No, the z370 is not compatible with non-coffee lake processors.
There will also be a z390 chipset board coming out probably by mid year to support the Intel's new 8(+) core coffee lake processors. We are guessing that the z390 will be compatible with current coffee lake as well.

Thanks, op! Bought it! I've been debating all month between replacing my dying motherboard and keeping my i7 477ok and starting over with an i5 8600k. This pushed me over the edge. Now, I need to find some DDR4.
