This hub looks perfect for my parent's old laptop with usb 2.0 ports only. Reviews seem not great, but for $2.99 after coupon (9UVJTQAN) and prime free shipping, worth to try it out.

Looks good for peripherals devices! Probably want to skip out on plugging in any super fast 3.0 flash drives haha

For those with older USB ports (pre-2010 laptops) this would be adequate.

Will this work for ps4pro? Between the steering wheel and VR, I'm out of ports.

Pre 2012 to be more precise. USB 3 was first included in the Ivy Bridge chipsets (3rd generation Core i series), which was the year it became widespread. There were a few 3rd party controllers before that, but it was very limited.

I assume this isn't good for charging multiple devices, is it?

Thumbs up for these little guys. No, they're not good for charging multiple devices or for connecting multiple portable external hard drives... but they're great for multiple low power devices such as a mouse, keyboard, flash drives and card readers. You CAN connect a phone or a portable hard drive to them, but don't expect it to work if you're plugging in 2 or 3 of them. Just use common sense. USB is typically 5V at 1A. Wink
