White keyboard and white backlit keys? Sounds neat for someone that likes the layout and doesn't mind the knock off red switches. Might snatch one up for a backup.

Thanks!

Since the patent expired, the red switches by different manufacturers are not "knock-offs". Some manufacturers may have better reputation for overall quality or better consistency. But there is nothing stopping discount manufacturers from using the exact same designs and specifications as the name brands.

Prices have come way down in the last year, and over time the quality being put out by the discount manufacturers should even out and be just as good as any other.

bad price. just wait for aukey keyboards
This is actually a pretty good deal. All of the Aukey keyboard deals I've seen are for Blue switches...where this keyboard has Red. Red switches are generally more expensive as they're more desirable for gaming (linear, non-tactile, and require less actuation force). Granted all of these cheap mech keyboards use chinese cherry MX clones, but they seem to perform pretty well.

Also, the smaller 84 key form factor is great for low-sens gaming since it gives you more desk space for a larger mouse pad.

I wanted to post this as well, you even mentioned the 84 key layout. Thank you. Much more helpful than just saying "Bad price"

Looks like that comes in Brown or Blue switches only (unless I'm looking at the wrong product).

Here's a pretty good guide on the differences: http://www.daskeyboard.com/blog/m...ard-guide/

This was very enlightening! Thanks for the info! I just am aware that many people like the fact that there are MX cherry switches in their keyboard nod

Had the black version with blue switches. Lasted 9 months of moderate use before the backlight on the "e" switch died. Had to pay for return shipping but other than that their customer service wasn't bad.

I have this keyboard. I'll give it 3/5 star. One of the smallest mechanical keyboard you can find but the key can be a bit inconsistent. I have my u key needing more distance than the other. I Manage to make it better by spraying some electrical cleaner. Overall not bad for the price. Consider getting the o rings on eBay for a buck to reduce noise.
