It used to be you can get a $25 certificate for $2 or sometimes even $1 after the 80% or 90% off promo code. Those were the true deals. They now have less and less participant restaurants.

Feel free to share where you can get a $25 gift card for $2. I'll wait.

FWIW, in case math is tough for you, this deal is basically a $25 gift card for $5, since you get 3 of them for $15.

A $100 card is less than $5

You obviously have no idea about these cards or their value

Sorry i was wrong. Fully admit it. A $100 is $5. And with my poor math it still comes out to $1.25 for $25. So you are overpaying by 400%. Slick for sure

Embarassed yet?

Im not sure how restaurant.com is still in business. The giftcards always have major restrictions and usually have to spend 3x the value of the giftcard for it to kick in. In my experience its never a local restaurant either we have to travel a few towns over to a small struggling mom and pop shop where you then feel bad for using the giftcard and taking money from them.

The $25 for $2 offer has been posted on SD multiple times, it is usually one of those rare deals that gets instant TD since it is not a deal for at least 95% of the people on here. Reasons why include the fact that most restaurants do not participate anymore, even if they are listed as still participating, call and verify, most left this setup. These "gc" cannot be used for certain items on the menu, sometimes have a minimum spend requirement, will apply automatic gratuity, etc

Fair enough. And I didn't overpay because I didn't purchase it.

Apologies for the "deal." Member since 2008 doesn't mean anything, so please stop suggesting it does. I don't browse SD all day, as I've got better things to do.

Aren't they free from T-Mobile every month or so? I have like $100 on two accts and never plan to use it. The one time I bought a voucher and tried to redeem it was a complete hassle, the restaurant made me feel two inches tall. Its a horrible service.
