First deal so be nice Smilie tried submitting before but wouldnt post for some reason.

Found this deal today on the ThorFire BLF Q8 flashlight that was made in collaboration with BudgetLightForum.

Normally $72.80 but ThorFire has a 30% off coupon on the amazon page. Just redeem it and add to cart. Discount shows as credit in check out.

Yeah, it's technically cheaper at banggood ($49.99) but then you have to wait a month for it. 2-day amazon prime or free super saver shipping makes it a decent deal.

Review of the BLF Q8 with pics and beam shots: http://budgetlightforum.com/node/56468

You'll need four 18650 button top batteries to power this.

I'm NiTE on CPF ! Bought this for 15 when using my Amazon credit card rewards points on top of the coupon great find!
I carry that triple LED from overready 3500 lm but only for eight minutes and it tends to overheat.
Also the 1909 bulbs have their own issues thanks

I bought a 5000 lumen headlamp for about $9. I probably throws about 500 lumen.

This is legit 5,000 lumens and the light was designed entirely by flashlight enthusiasts from around the world. With that said if you arent well versed on lithium 18650 batteries this probably isnt the light for you. If you are clumsy and might put one of the batteries in the wrong way, dont buy it. Otherwise, if you are careful and know what a button top 18650 is, you should buy it and enjoy the best light you have ever owned.

fakespot is really hit or miss. I was around when the blf forum was helping to design this thing, its the real deal. Of course, its still 50 bucks which seems quite pricey for a flashlight unless you're into flashlights.

Thats why this is more than 9 bucks, it actually puts out the stated lumens. I have a soda can light that pushes over 3000 lumens and its bright af. 5000 lumens for 50 bucks is actually quite cheap if you need a powerful torch.

I own it. It's a Very bright light with some nice features. I would definitely buy again. Make sure you have 4 of the 18650 batteries.

1 "verified" review out of the 18 reviews there... Seems someone is really trying to sell this flashlight! I'm sure it's a decent light, but with ALL of those fake reviews it will actually hurt the sales numbers versus helping! People are becoming smarter and not just buying based upon what SEEMS to be good reviews...

I prefer colors under warm light 2700k-3000k. This is a nice light.

What are the brightness level adjustment on this? 5 lumens, then 100 lumens, then 500 lumens, etc?

It has a huge following on hobby forums and they have been gobbling up all the inventory. It's only just available on Amazon. I believe initially Thorfire reached out to customer who pre-ordered the light direct from China offering a discount if they wanted to buy an additional via Amazon. Hence, it has reviews but not many verified.

Here's 20,000 forum posts about the light if you are so inclined:
