Nice price for new drives.
I picked up a couple refurbs last month for ~$45. They work great still even with 17,000hrs on them.

Good deal, why does it say 3year warranty one place and five year on main page?

What's interesting is that the same seller on Newegg has the same hard drive albeit refurbished for the same price....

Proceed with caution.

If it's the same goharddrive from eBay they are a fantastic seller.

Still, it's an awful big red flag.

That company has been known in the past to wipe SMART info and sell used drives as new. I would NEVER give them my money regardless of the savings for any bare/OEM drives.
If it was a retail boxed HD, that might be another story... but I still wouldn't want to do business with them.

This Limited Warranty applies to new HGST HDDs purchased from an authorized HGST dealer by the original purchaser for normal use and not for resale.

In other words, these have NO warranty, unless HGST is gracious.

more likely goHardDrive will replace the HDD themselves bypassing HGST. - you still have recourse via Newegg if falls through as their commentary is that they believe these are sold as NEW

I appreciate all your efforts at posting great deals, but this is one I can't endorse. I don't recommend that anyone place their faith in the goodwill of gHD or Newegg. Especially the former since the allegation that wiping SMART data from used HDDs appears to be true.

not goodwill, think goHardDrive has always warranteed its own drives, as they OEM various NAS packages they may have even have reseller rights to orig HGST warrantees (for themselve not the consumer)
