While this price may seem tempting, I would recommend sticking with an official SYMA brand drone. I just returned my Akaso X5C after motors dying an hour into using the drone. Also the throttle stick on the remote would get stuck if you pushed the throttle up and to either side (yaw).

The seller sent a replacement drone which fixed the throttle sticking but then the motors died early on with that one too. I just finished boxing both up both drones to ship back tomorrow and get a refund.

I have a Syma X5SW and it flies much better than this one ever did. With the X5SW, you get much more granular control over the movement of the drone. The drone responds to small incremental movements of the sticks and it feels much more accurate to fly. Save your $20 and get a Syma X5S, X5H or X5U.

Know this is older but I just saw it and wanted to comment on your post. I had the same weird experience with the Akaso, well not the motors dying, because I only flew it for two minutes and then sold it!

I noticed the same thing with the movement, it was almost like the transmitter didn't have any proportion to it. You couldn't just lay your thumbs on the stick and make small movements, the Akaso only responded with these big jerky moves. I'm fine with flying an X5C-1 in the house, but frankly- this Akaso scared me. I thought it was so unresponsive that I would crash into a wall.

I thought it was the transmitter gymbals that were junky so I tried to bind it with the Syma transmitter to see if that was the issue, only it's not a true clone so the Syma transmitter wouldn't bind or work with it.

Then I discovered that the camera it has on it isn't even really HD, even though it appears to be the same camera type. It's only a 1.3MP camera, otherwise known as VHS.

Someone just posted this quad again for $18 this time, I trashed it and thought you could followup.
