Previous lowprice was $26.94 for a lightning deal back in October, so this seems like a pretty decent deal if you're in the market for a knife.
I used to be a Henckel knife guy but after spending quite a bit of $$ on a set and had them perform poorly and fall apart (handle).... then the company NOT stand behind them...I am taking a more optimistic look at alternative blades.

I'm sorry to tell you the bad news. Wink
But Fakespot is as unreliable as the BBB (Better business bureau).

Only thing more dangerous in a kitchen than a sharp knife is a dull one. This quality knife will not hold an edge. So much more fun to cook with quality instruments. If you're looking for a Japanese blade, wait for a deal on a Shin or Dalstrong. I use Yaxell Super Gou's and sharpen with a water stone every 6 or so months. It's such a luxury to use a good, sharp knife.

Attached are some of the reviews for this knife, showing that they're either fake/random reviews, or reviews from a different product. https://www.amazon.com/product-reviews/B075SSMBNS [amazon.com]

Seems like the seller likely had a different listing, and then changed it to a knife while re-using the same SKU.

And many of the reviewers are sketchy, leaving all 5-star reviews to random chinese products: https://www.amazon.com/gp/profile...dp?ie=UTF8

Definitely suspicious.

I looked up the Dalstrong and the Yaxell ones. Now those look like wonderful knives but yes, they are expensive so would be nice to get one on a deal. I think for the kind of cook I am, the Yaxell Super Gou would be overkill. I don't do a whole lot of cooking, but I could use a good knife. Thanks for your post and repped.
