The unit price is 19c / oz from here.

Amazon's cheapest [bytheunit.com] is .29c/oz

Shipping: $1 on first-time order, $5 if returning customer.

Note: Everything on their site is $3 just varying quantities or sizes. They also haveCoconut Oil [brandless.com] 10 oz which is on par with Amazon's current prices @ .30c / oz which you can also use to dilute the mouthwash if necessary, but water works just fine.
WARNING:
I am not advertising against it, but there are some safety notes I would like to make. Tea Tree Oil is great and is fine for most people when they use it properly. It has natural antimicrobial properties. BUT PLEASE be careful, as leaving Tea Tree Oil in contact with your skin too long, or in too high of a concentration can cause chemical burns if you get careless.

Here are some tips:
  • Use a very smaller diluted amount the first time for. See how it affects you. This helps screen for sensitivity or allergies.
  • If it is too strong, dilute it with water and/or oils like coconut oil [brandless.com].
  • Do not leave it in your mouth too long. Probably 1-minute max, I would start with 30-45 seconds.

If it is too strong or you happen to be too sensitive or allergic then you can give it to someone else.

How do you feel this is a deal at normal price? More of a promo for the site than anything

Brandless is a brand. I would assume you sue them like any other company.

I understand your point conceptually, but I don't think it's a very strong point in this case. This isn't a bad product or a bad price, and this isn't a repost or shill or in-stock alert for a product everyone is aware of and has seen before.

This hasn't been posted on SD before and is a cheaper price-per-unit than any other natural mouthwash posted on this site in recent history. I posted it because it is the lowest cost option available I have found for this type of product (unless you're trying to make your own at home which is another story entirely.)

Do you really need a fancy red sticker to qualify something as a good deal or not?
Downvote if you really think it's fair, but I don't see the point of downvoting good content just because there isn't a special price for their site even though very few are aware of it's existence at all. If it's not a bad product, not a bad price, and not a repost... I don't see the point. If this was coming in as a new product from Walmart with a 1/2 off sticker at the same price I doubt you would be complaining.

What is the alternative? Buying a more expensive product on "sale" rather than this? Who does that benefit exactly?

Your "other options" on slickdeals

As a side note, I'm not shilling/promoting the site, I'm posting about the small handful of products I have seen on their site that I was interested and found are actually worth mentioning. I did a review in response to someone's question on Reddit and the tl;dr was there are a few gems but overall just "pretty decent". Just figured the people here would appreciate the price too.
