Cheaper than the Python one that was FP a couple weeks ago. Can't say anything on quality comparison between the two.

There is a coupon to clip on the PDP.

I can never figure why they have they have coupons you have to click on; why not just give you the net price?

I have a python and would be cautious of this one because the tubing is not clear. Mine occasionally clogs after sticking up plant leaves or bits of moss. It clears easily by squeezing the hose a bit where the clog is. A black house would make this hard to do.

Both the product video and customer images show the hose as a transparent smoke color. You can still easily see through it.

The Python is a much better product but, in my opinion, it's a better option to buy just the Python suction adapter (https://www.amazon.com/Python-13B...er+adapter) or a water bed fill kit (https://www.amazon.com/RPS-PRODUC...+drain+kit) and then head to the hardware store and pick up the faucet adapter for <$2 and then either an old hose or a hose to 1/2" adapter for <$3 and 1/2"ID-5/8"OD PVC tubing for about a quarter a foot and some hose clamps. Total investment less than $20.

http://www.acehardware.com/produc...d=68707326 to connect the Python adapter to your sink (not needed with the waterbed kit)

An adapter like this (https://www.lowes.com/pd/BrassCra...g/50380954) but you can find them in plastic and 1/2" to connect the Python to PVC tubing.

Both can be found cheaper in the plumbing section of your local hardware store. There you also find bulk reels of clear vinyl tubing. 1/2"ID-5/8"OD is direct replacement for Python.

I have a 25' Python and need to add to it. I am thinking of replacing the short length with some of that bulk reel tubing.
