Mail My Matress Overkill

Did you know there are approximately 53 online vendors who will mail you (or truck deliver) a mattress to you in the USA? What is known as bed-in-a-box has overwhelmed the marketplace in my opinion. So I thought I would research how many bed-in-a-box companies there are.
--------------------

Bed in A Box Providers

If you find one that is not on this list, please post it and I will add it to my list.

Generally speaking, the companies on this list: 1. Mail a mattress in a box to your front door, that you order online, and whose main business is mailing you a bed in a box, or, deliver you a mattress by truck ("white glove delivery"). 2. Have at least one mattress in their lineup that costs under $1000 3. Offers at least a 90 night trial, with full refund if not satisfied and 4. Offers at least the standard 10 year warranty.

All the companies are in the USA, except one is in Canada in the list below.

I have not included companies such as TempurPedic, Ikea, King Koil, etc, because they do not meet the requirements above, and are really not true bed in a box companies-- whose primary business is ordering a mattress online only.

Bed in a box companies, for the most part, are meant to sell mattresses to be ordered online only, and meant to save you money over the traditional brick and mortar mattress stores.

Some hybrid mattress companies below (made with both memory foam & individually wrapped coils e.g.), as well as other companies below, may deliver the mattress by truck (via "white glove delivery"), instead of mailing it in a box. Truck delivery
usually also offers you the option of having them pick up your old mattress as well.

I list the mattress name first (in no particular order) and then put the website name for the mattress in parenthesis:

1. Azza (sleepazza)
2. Keetsa (keetsa)
3. Nectar (nectarsleep)
4. Casper (casper)
5. Purple (purple)
6. Loom and Leaf (loomandleaf) [by Saatva]
7. Saatva (saatvamattress)
8. Tuft and Needle (tuftandneedle) [they also have a couple brick & mortar shops]
9. Bed In A Box (bedinabox) [7 branded mattresses to choose from]
10. Amerisleep (amerisleep)
11. Lull (lull)
12. Ghostbed (ghostbed)
13. Leesa (leesa; buyleesa) [and Sapira]
14. Brooklyn Bedding (brooklynbedding)
15. Nolah (nolahmattress)
16. Yogabed (yogabed)
17. Avocado (avocadogreenmattress)
18. Puffy (puffy)
19. Brentwood Home (brentwoodhome)
20. Tomorrow (tomorrowsleep)
21. Layla (laylasleep)
22. Zenhaven (zenhaven) [by Saatva]
23. Oso (ososleep)
24. Eve (sleepeve)
25. Dromma (drommabed)
26. Plushbeds (plushbeds)
27. Hyphen (hyphensleep)
28. Muse (musesleep)
29. FreedomSleep (freedomsleep)
30. Helix (helixsleep)
31. Luxi (luxisleep)
32. Zotto (zottosleep)
33. Voila (voilabox)
34. Bear (bearmattress)
35. Spindle (spindlemattress)
36. Tulo (tulo) [also available at "Mattress Firm" store, in-store, & online]
37. Nora (wayfair)
38. Kaya (kayasleep)
39. Silk + Snow (silkandsnow)
40. Cocoon (cocoonbysealy) [yes, Sealy is mainly an in-store provider, but this is their bed-in-a-box mattress that they mail to you, which may also be available in-store].
41. Zinus (zinus)
42. Eluxury (eluxury)
43. Novosbed (novosbed)
44. Nestbedding (nestbedding)
45. Wright (wrightbedding) [starts at $1395, so this store really does not qualify for this list according to the above guidelines].
46. Eight (eightsleep)
47. Linenspa (linenspa)
48. Winkbeds (winkbeds)
49. Liveandsleep (liveandsleep) [30 to 100 day trial, depending on mattress u buy, so this store really does not qualify for this list according to the above guidelines].
50. 4sleep (4sleep)
51. Tuck (trytuck)
52. Aviya (aviyamattress)
53. DreamCloud (dreamcloudsleep) [1 year trial period; Everlong/Forever/Lifetime Warranty, just like the Nectar or Layla mattress]. .
54. Endy (endy ; ca.endy) [only ships within Canada]

Anyone purchase any of the above mattresses? If so, which one(s), and how do you like the mattress?

Some mattress review websites (ends in .com, unless otherwise specified) : Sleeplikethedead, Sleepopolis, latexmattress.org,

Are you suggesting that the reader should perpetually cycle through the list trying each mattress for 88 days and then returning in order to avoid purchasing? That's so devious man, you should really be ashamed of yourself. How do you sleep at night? Oh yeah, ON A MATTRESS YOU DIDN'T PAY FOR! WHAT'S THE WORLD COMING TO? HIDE YOUR KIDS, HIDE YOUR WIFI PASSWORD!

Huh? Talk about being a Debbie Downer. Why would you think of such an unrelated, non-sensical, and negative thing ?

I have updated the list above, because I found a couple more companies. ; ) Geeesh, so many.

Note, some companies do memory foam mattresses, some do latex, some do inner springs, and some do hybrid beds (combination of memory foam and inner springs for example). Some companies offer a memory foam mattress and a hybrid bed for example; There are exceptions, such as the Purple mattress which uses "hyper elastic polymer" and poly foam, otherwise known as "innovative construction". There are also other innovative construction mattress companies in my list above.

See the mattress reviews at Sleepopolis website, one of my favorite mattress review websites.

I actually have an expensive Talalay latex mattress that I bought from a retail store about 8 years ago.

But, I still use a 3", 4lb density memory foam topper on top of the mattress. I should have bought less expensive mattress and put the topper on it.

Thanks for the update LINDSFORD. Most mattress companies listed above respond quickly and professionally, due to the competition etc. If they don't they are digging a hole for themselves for sure.

Yeah, let us know how you like the LAYLA and please do follow-up on their customer service. : )

So far the item shipped a day later than quoted and customer service itself isn't bad but the response time is so slow (maybe I'm just use to Amazon) Bed should be here early next week.

I put an order in for Helix mattress. Mostly after drowning in review sites and getting frustrated. Hard to tell a biased (i.e. paid off) review site versus a real one. I am hoping for the best.

Shouldn't be hard to impress me right now, current mattress has springs starting to come thru.
