Comes out to 18.36 a movie with no digital codes.

Amazon has 3 for 50 for Batman trilogy and inception as part of their list.

Decisions to make..mhm this would be sweet for 100

I just bought the Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception and 2 others from Amazon. In the end it will probably come out to around the same after I purchase the other movies individually plus I get the digital codes.

I also heard bad things about the packaging so I didn't want to risk it.

I remember when Blu-Ray was stupidly expensive. Hopefully the 4K discs will come down in price more quickly than Blu discs did. As much as I prefer physical media for its superior picture, the format is going to struggle if prices stay high for too long.

They already have. When they were first introduced they were all ~$30, now only a year later most can be had for <$20 (especially if you wait for a sale). I can't remember the last time I purchased a movie on release.

I don't think that full is available in 4k. May be why.

I heard individual movies have nicer slipcovers and digital... Do most have UHD digital if bought individually?

Or Following. Those two are my favorites of his. I can't suffer through the mega-blockbuster ones (Inception and Dark Night — turned them both off before they ended). Yeah, I know I'm weird. I just think ChriNo does better work on smaller budgets.

you couldn't sit through The Dark Knight? Not sure if you were giving it the attention it deserves, it has more depth than your regular superhero movies. I'd urge you to give it another try! Smilie

Yes and yes, this is the main reason I bought them individually from best buy. As others have mentioned as well, I have heard bad things about the packaging from this and sometimes getting duplicates of some discs. I also had a bunch of reward coupons to get rid of as well which helped sway my decision

This set does not come with any digital codes. If you buy the movies individually as physical 4k discs, they all come with digital 4k except The Prestige, which only comes with digital HD. But The Prestige cannot be found anywhere digitally as 4k, so that is my guess as to why. Be sure to redeem that one on iTunes for the free 4k upgrade if a digital release does ever come around!
