Refurbished Vizio 65" Class 4K (2160P) Smart LED Home Theater Display with Tablet included (P65-C1)

Walmart has a refurb Vizio 65 inch P series for $899. I purchased an E series refurb from Wal-Mart about 8 months ago and had good luck with the experience. It looks like they changed extended warranty providers so not sure if refurbs qualify, they used to.

I've gotten my Vizio P50 refurb from walmart two years ago. Took one RMA but good deal for $399.

there were only five available when I first posted. My ebay refurb will be here tomorrow, white glove and $50 extended 1yr warranty. Just in time for Bowl game.

I figured there was some pent up demand since the lowest new price was costco $1300, except a few rare deals. And the TCL cancelled or delayed the P65 model. Some of us have been waiting years for this Vizio.

I wouldn't be too quick to mark deal dead, possible to restock it. Keep trying.

We had damaged boxes and tvs in years past so it was a 50-50 chance but worth the RMA if you got a good one.

walmart still holds the record for breaking these. make sure you turn it on, internal damage isn't obvious at first glance.

Funny enough, I had 2 x damaged Vizio TVs from Wal-Mart that had to go back, they were brand new and the boxes were flawless. The refurb that I ended up getting later was delivered on a box truck to my house and the box looked like it had been through a war.....TV was perfect though! So, yes as recommended certainly inspect it right away if you snag one.

I think shipper has changed after a few years. Wally was going to refund when the warehouse came through for me. First one was single boxed and shattered, second was double boxed and typing on it now from 8ft away.

whats up with vizio & walmart having so many refurbs? ... ok, I can understand WM since they have a generous return policy, maybe folks buy on impulse & then have some remorse. but if its a good tv/great value for money etc - why so many returns? that'd logically lead to it being a quality issue - if so, whats going on w vizio? for a while I've heard they're reliable for what they offer, and provide good value for money.

so what gives? anyone have any insight or clue as to this specific phenomena?

I mean P series is supposedly their highest end model. it's even won awards etc. the only other reason I can think of is I think the C1 model is a year or two old? cause their current (or last yrs model on their site) is the P65-E1. so are folks returning to get the new one/upgrade?

vizio operates in volume for the lower budget crowd likely a factor, very popular brand. When they dropped the Via apps for Chromecast platform might have discouraged some. Then there is the lack of tuner, some may not have realized there is not one built in.
