Good cooler. Keeps my 6700K OCed to 4.7 under 80C when fully loaded. PITA to install but there are videos on YouTube to help out with this caveat.

It's a little pricey but you're paying for the sound or lack thereof. I do like the Evo 212 though, great cooler, especially for the price.

Lots of bad information here about this cooler. This will definitely outperform a 212 evo. This is on par, sometimes better than, most AIO coolers. If space and ram clearance isn't an issue, this is the cooler to get. The only time you should get an AIO cooler over this is if you need the space, or like the look. AIO coolers are louder and have a higher risk of failure over these.

I have i7-8700k (will do medium level OCing later), Does 250W TDP overkill?

Is 190W TDP enough for i7-8700k?

Yeah, I'm not sure the sound is worth 3-4 times the price for an air cooler. If you're paying that much, why not go liquid?

Air cooling > AIO most of the time in terms of performance and sound. Also, lasts far longer since AIOs have permeation in about 3-5 years in which you need to replace the fluid, but most AIOs are very restrictive in this manner. AIOs are good for aesthetics and are less likely to interfere with other components.

Yes, aio has unnecessary risk.
