Light Bulb Experts? What size is this small decorative Marquee Sign bulb?

1,476 741 January 7, 2018 at 02:45 PM
For the life of me I can't seem to track down what size bulbs these are. No markings on bulb or sign. Would prefer to switch them out for LED, but direct replacement would do too. Anyone have an idea?

Why do conservative politicians oppose conservation?
Have you ever stopped to think the long-term GOP immigration policy might be to make the United States of America a less desirable place to live than Mexico?

See, your already helping. They flicker and burn out, so didn't realize that. Anyone have a size?

You can tell they're LED, because the part inside the bulb is an LED and not a traditional filament. I'm guessing this is battery powered?

I'd agree it looks like G12 or G13.

As for flickering / burning out, there could be a loose connection somewhere, some of the sockets may not be making the best connection with the bulb (could result from over tightening), or the bulbs may have poor quality control or may not be soldered well.

I think those are all intended for 120V. Pretty sure this is a batter powered light strand like Christmas lights, bulbs in series.

Yes, the sign uses 2 "AA" Batteries.
