That's cool and all to get the look but 60w is a bit high usage these days.

Yeah.. I know they make LED ones that run at a way lower wattage and you can still get a similar cool look..

Why get these energy wasters when you can get old style LEDs?

why by a car with a V8 when an I4 can get you to work just the same.............?
different people like different things. i know, it's a strange world out there.

i use the circle filament style for accent lights, there's no way an LED is doing that and the straight LEDs don't have the same look as the Edison filaments either. personal preference, and these aren't meant for lights that will be on all the time anyway... so the cost incurred/saved by switch to LEDs is so low, it won't matter in the slightest.

It's lightbulbs we're talking about here. Fakespot doesn't really sway me either way.

Edison was a hack who electrocuted animals for fun. He wasn't qualified to carry Tesla's jockstrap. He actually electrocuted an elephant to try to prove that Tesla's ac power was too dangerous.

One of the dumbest comparisons I've seen in a while. Does a V8 consume 5x more fuel and have to be thrown away 8x more often? Especially because to make the comparison fair, you'd have to compare a 150hp V8 to a 150hp I4.
