Sure, but if we get technical, the majority of SSDs are 2.5" and can be found in desktops. Both of these would fit in a desktop case. But with these drives, 2.5" = 5400rpm and 3.5" = 7200rpm. In my opinion, the 3.5" is the more desirable of the two.

Also, the deal was slicker if anyone realized the amazon link gave them an opportunity to price match and get it for $10 less.
