Me: okay, thank you. I will deregister the business account, as it provides no additional value to me as a small, single-member business.

Just to confirm , you want to know about business prime?
Me: When Amazon promoted Amazon Business to me, there was information about sharing my existing personal Prime membership with my business account. Apparently this is no longer an option, according to Benjamin.
I was asking for clarification as I was unable to follow any of the instructions appearing online to achieve just that.
Abhishek: There is no option for sharing personal prime with business account. As the business prime only have shipping benefits.
Business Prime is the recommended shipping program for business customers which provides everyone in your business account access to unlimited FREE Two-Day shipping on tens of millions of eligible items. Free One-Day and Same-Day Shipping is also available on over a million items in certain zip codes. We offer a variety of plan sizes based on the number of users in your business account. To learn more about the benefits of Business Prime, go to https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer...(See full link)
Me: Yes. I understand that is now the policy. Confusion stems from the fact that there is still an abundance of documentation online which suggests that it was previously, and no documentation stating explicitly that it is no longer.
I will deregister my business account and continue using my personal Prime membership on my account. Thank you for your assistance.
Abhishek: Sure. Should I provide you the link to deregister business account?
Me: I have it, thank you.
I'm bumping this after finding this thread on a search for info about the limits of linking a business account with prime (mine are still linked). Like joelgarzatx, I don't see any documentation explaining that this benefit was discontinued. Bizzare. Perhaps they simply want to feed their new Business Prime plans, with their higher cost bases?
ETA: Here is the other thread I found confirming this experience. Seems like Amazon killed this benefit quietly without wanting to acknowledge doing so, but haven't retroactively killed the existing linkages yet...?

I've been running into issues renewing my personal prime, after many reps I finally got one that stated they removed this benefit on September 27th 2018....
However, it is still listed on Amazon UK and other venues, just not the U.S. one.
Like the OP i'm a single member company, and while having the ability to categorize my purchases at the time or purchase, I am not going to spend 50% more for "Business Prime" just to utilize that feature.
