Moto E4 preferably unlocked or similar GSM capable smartphone

2,146 52 January 8, 2018 at 10:31 AM
I was looking for a deal on factory unlocked Moto E4 - still looking!

Moto G5 seems plastic - saw some -ve reviews when it was first introduced.

I am looking for Android update eligible phone - means it is probably not branded by carriers.

Any recommendation or deal links?

You missed out on all the deals from B&H photo about a month ago. If you have the patience, maybe they will do it again.

E4 for $104?
Frys was selling it for less than $99 at that time.

Can it get better?

One, there was no tax, making this cheaper. Two, if you read it completely, it included 6 months of Republic Wireless with 2 GB of data per month.

If all you need is GSM unlocked, you should have been following my thread. It's been around for weeks.

It's a Verizon phone but you can GSM unlock it if you follow my instructions.

You know, I went to a little trouble for you. You could at least say thanks.

I repped you

With unlocked Verizon - it might loose it through firmware update - OS update is dependent on Verizon - so I would prefer an unlocked or AndroidOne smartphone.

I've gotten updates and didn't lose the unlock. I don't think even a factory reset changes it. You could try asking on the E4 thread.
