great price, these are actually pretty useful, you can store stuff onto the microSD card. I was wondering what people were talking about 1GB, glad that was an error, it didn't make sense with being only 1GB, but 1TB makes a lot more sense.

Can you comment on what this would used for? Is it basically a universal microSD card reader? Works on the devices (laptops) with USB A as well as newer laptops and newer phones w/ USB-C ports?

Can you actually plug the adapter into a USB A socket if there's a microSD card inserted in there? From the pictures, it seems like the card sticks out and gets in the way.

Wait, USB 3.0 up to 5Gbps and USB 3.1 only 140Mbps?

Could be that it has some safeguards built in due to USB C having 2 way flow of current so it kicks in and limits USB 3.1 gen 1 devices that connect via USB C? Kind of like a "limp mode"

I use mine for SLR camera memory to Android Phone or Laptop when traveling. I also use mine to dumb downloads off my phone to move to HTPC

I've had the microUSB to USB A versions of these by SanDisk... And the SanDisk look to be smaller... This one seems really long... maybe my imagination, but I don't think it would be very convenient on a keychain like my old ones.
