I checked on this a week or so ago and it was $200, but stock was limited.

However, it appears to be in stock.

You may want to update your info though since on the link you provided, you can get the kayak, life jacket, and a dry bag for $220. Theres a link to bundle and save.

I agree this is the best bang for the buck kayak. However i would not want to get caught in this thing to far away from the shore while in the ocean. This is not an ocean kayak, if the weather turns on you or the current is too strong with wind, it may be near impossible to paddle it back to shore. It wont cut through swells well and is not very fast.

Bring a whistle, blow horn and other safety items if you venture out into the saltwater with this.

i've fished on boat & shore, fishing almost 200 days a year, everytime i go out i check not only the weather, tides and wind, and solunar calendar, always be safe than sorry,
but this is great for cape cod area, and rhode island & buzzard bays area, since those are in the bay and less rocky wave, and of course always need to get weather forecast.

What do you look for before going out into the ocean?

I normally look for winds, weather, tide schedule , tidal amplitude, temperature of air & water , solunar calendar ( moon condition ) , I don't normally depend much on barometric pressure, as long as the wind is good, temp is bearable, pick the time when current Is flowing, how much waves / high there are, and moon to keep track of my fishing, record, I noticed I don't catch lot of fish when its new moon/ full moon ,
