Costco has/had the Intel i5 version on sale for $400 with $15 shipping. They seem to be out of stock now. Maybe they restock these deals, but I don't know.

Make sure you look at your local store first in Open Box section. I just picked up the same but with a Ryzen 7m 16gb and a 560 GPU for $597!!! Thing was brand new but manager told me it was a leftover from the 2 they had for Black Friday. Turns out a lot of the stores got them to late and were told to hold them until January and sell them cheap because Lenovo is releasing the 1900's.

This thing is a frigging beast. Even at it's sale price of $799 it's well worth it. If the Ryzen 5 Lenovo runs as quiet and fast as mine than pick it up if you're on a budget BUT check local stock first!

I'm a noob when it comes to computers...but will this be good for games such as diablo 3??

Is this comparable to a I-3 or I-5?

Ryzen 5 is roughly on par with the upper range of i5/lower range i7, depending on exactly which; it should be way past what you need for Diablo 3, considering you're looking at a current mid-upper CPU vs a game that came out... what, 5-6 years ago? (Note that Ryzen tends to have slightly inferior performance in games compared to an equivalent i#... though if you do any kind of multitasking, the Ryzen tends to hold up better.) You'll definitely want to replace the GPU though; that thing's pretty antiquated.

Price has dropped to $449.99. Picked one up yesterday for my son. Nice computer.

Thanks for the info!

I'm thinking of picking one up with the price drop.

Would these specs be able to comfortably run Overwatch? I know the processor is capable but I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to graphics card specs or cooling and power supply.

Just poking around, I suspect it's this one: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/leno...Id=5887604

I'm slightly pissed that I missed the $399 HP at Walmart (even though my wife took a picture of them sitting there) but I'd totally drop some extra for this setup. Might have to stop by my local BB to see if they have an "open box".

psu shouldn't matter. gfx card is on the low end or better known as 'entry level'. but this [techspot.com] comparison shows it should run 1080p well enough
