Very comfortable shoes; in my opinion, they compete with Asics and Brooks. This price point is hard to beat! Just wish they had wides available and I would have jumped on the grey pair.

Great deal - bought these for $80 when they came out - they were excellent over about 350 miles and were still performing well at that point. These shoes were a Runner's World Editor's Choice winner - lightweight and very responsive (flexible). These shoes have a low (8mm) heel-toe drop, and the bottoms are springy, but has thinner cushion than more heavy-duty shoes. I would recommend it for a more experienced runner (not a complete beginner) that doesn't suffer from issues (pronation, overweight) and wants to keep one shoe for all circumstances - it's light enough for speed work, cushiony enough for long runs, and can be used for longer road races - can def be used for events up to to Half Marathon.

Great deal on these shoes! I own a pair of these and paid quite a bit more for them last year but one thing to keep in mind is that the sizing is a little off IMO. I usually wear a 12 in New Balance with no issue but find these a little on the big size. The toe box is very roomy and I have to tighten the laces a lot to shrink that down a bit and get them to fit. I tried an 11 and they were too small so just keep in mind that the sizing may not be what you expect. Not necessarily a dealbreaker though.

Sierra Trading Post also has a bunch of these on sale for $39-$50 plus shipping (might kill the deal):
