Wonder if this will help overclock my Ryzen 1800x better than my current B350. I just can't get any stability in 4Ghz

I have this board and can confirm it's pretty awesome. TU!
Side note: I can only get the 1700X stable at 3.9GHz and memory at 3,066 (then again, I'm sure they're not B Die, so doubt I'll ever hit 3.2k Frown)

I am curious what is that LED light goes on and off near the CPU? Is it normal?

The one in the bottom right corner? You can change the color of it in BIOS. Just for display.

Edit: I think it's a program you download? Idk, never bothered to tinker with it as I don't have a window on my case.

This may not matter for most, but the on board raid only supports 0,1, and 10. I was hoping for raid 5 for my specific build, so I have to decide between using the second 8 lane slot for hardware raid or do it in software.

It can be disabled with the asrock LED app you download from their app store.

Great board I have it. I set only ram in bios to 3200, then after it restarts three times from a cold boot and finally get to Windows, I use the ASRock A-Tuning utility to crank my 1600x to 4ghz (with ram still @ 3200) for a very stable overclock, maybe next bios update will fix 3x restarting issue

Can you share how much ram you are using and placement on the board slots. I received a paper with the mb saying if it's x frequency insert it in slots a, c .. For y frequency put it on b, d. Am little confused. I have a similar conf build 1700x with Taichi, just waiting for a good deal on PSU with 850w. Planning to run couple of cards, for work.

I remember when Ryzen came out and this board was impossible to get. I've heard good things, but I went with the Gaming Fatality Pro instead. Mainly because of the color scheme and the black/white of this one was too stark of contrast
