For $2 more you can get the updated Ultra model. That has dedicated skip track buttons, 4 more watts (10watts for this vs 14 for Ultra); and IP6 water resistant instead of IP5

Sorry link

OK.
I just spent 30 mins on the phone about this speaker.. The first review by " Goldie " does a comparision between this posted speaker and your link seaker.

THE PROBLEM:
Do NOT click on his photos!
There are comments it locks up your browser, It did to mine, it did to the Amazon supervisor.. and it is now reported.
DON'T click those photos..

I have never seen the activity of a clicking photo do what it did.. which was totally lock up my browser.

While I was on the phone with Amazon supervisor, I ordered myself a Tribit XSound Go Portable Bluetooth Speaker [amazon.com]

yea it's something w/ that listing in general. If you try to click ANY pics in it (not just that review) my browser tab locks up. Weird lol

FYI That tribit speaker has an F on Fakespot for legit reviews and company rated at F too. I've never seen anything w/ perfect 5 stars lol

I own the non-plus version of this model https://www.amazon.com/OontZ-Angl...D0FNC3GWF3 & love it. We have had it for over 6 months. Sounds great, water resistant & connects quickly via Bluetooth. We use it almost every day in the house to stream music on as well as at the beach, pool, etc for what it's worth to everyone. I am personally waiting for the Plus to lower a little more before I upgrade.

It's upto you. I have a physical Amazon locker/dropoff right by my house which has made me more likely to try things out and if I don't like them just drop them off at the Amazon storefront for free returns.

If you don't have that luxury though I'd be skeptical about this unit. The F grade on Fakespot and if you google I could only locate 2 "reviews" one online and one on youtube and both mention they were paid/given free speakers for their reviews. Makes me hesitant.

For the $40 and under range I'd stick with Oontz Angle 3 Ultra or Anker Soundcore 2 unless you can find other users using a different unit who seem reliable in their testimony

I'm on hold with Amazon as we speak.. the speaker was cancled but the Square Trade is a pain.
I do recall seeing 101 reviews then 100 reviews then 99 reviews.. So its true what Fakespot said about reviews disappearing..

Sigh, now where is that pc case @@

Thank you slayerfaith1982!

FYI got my Oontz Angle 3 Ultra delivered today. Gets very very loud for the size and good quality. I'd say it's got good sound and gets good bass response as well. Just knee jerk opinion so far but will continue to check out other types of music on it. So far leaning towards keeping it.

Was on the fence w/ getting the UE Wonderboom at Microcenter for $65 since Cnet rated their sound quality comparable. But for $25 less I'm not sure why the Oontz isn't worth keeping

What's the verdict on the Ultra? You keeping it or send it back?

Keeping it. I like it in the white color option (trivial I know) and actually got a 2nd to pair them for separated left and right channel sound for parties in back yard once the weather improves. The fact it can be out in the rain too helps.

I'd say it's certainly worth $40. Haven't killed the battery yet but have taken one into work before and had music playing (softly) for a full 9ish hour work day at my desk and it didn't die. Usually then recharge over night so again no thorough test but good enough for me.
