Avoid this deal like the plague! I received this switch outlet FAR from Newegg a year back. It caught on fire and almost burned my house down. I contacted rosewill to rectify and they didn't bother following through; they literally just wrote me off as saying they were not responsible. Basically, one of the outlets short circuited and caught on fire, burning half the electronics connected to it by the time I was able to put the fire out. Never again. I just stick with APC with surge protection built in from now on.

The rebate instructions should be in the order information after you finish ordering the item. The rebate instructions will have a link to a site where you can register for the rebate. Next, simply print out your invoice and the rebate form after you registered for the rebate and wait for the item to reach your door step. Note: Newegg will only provide an invoice AFTER the item ships. The invoice will literally have Invoice labeled on it. Do not use the Order Confirmation page for your rebate.

When you have the item, cut out the UPC code and adhere it to the rebate form. Sign and date the rebate form. Then mail the invoice and the rebate form (with the UPC stuck to it) to the designated address listed on the rebate form. Wait 2-3 months for your prepaid rebate mastercard.

It's not free or a surge protector but it does have a 6' cord and individual switches compared to the other Rosewill ones. Thanks!

I've got one I've had for maybe a year and use it everyday to switch some shop lights. I want to put all my watt-stealing power adapters/chargers on these.
My only complaint is the dumb mounting slots. The slots are shallow and narrow so I had to scrounge to come up with screws (not included) that would fit. But more significantly they slots are upside down! (At least to me.) It only mounts with the supply cord on top. Beats me why they wouldn't just make the slots multi-axis.

I don't normally do rebates... is the rebate card physically included with the item or do I print it somewhere?

If you are figuring on multiples, it indicates one rebate per address.

Just an FYI that the illumination of switches dies after a couple years. So you won't be able to look down at the strip to know which ones are ON/OFF. (the ON/OFF letters are hard to see. may need to use some kind of white marker to make it more clear).

That just means I won't have to block all of the lights with electrical tape forever like my others.
