Looked at the Amazon page and finding that information was rather challenging, didn't see it on my first pass, the pictures did not even show cables from the kit nor the back of the DVR - rather strange, it is as if they purposely wanted to omit critical information.

The user manual makes it clear:

"Night Owl's HDA30 Series Camera Compatibility:
Night Owl's HDA30 DVRs are compatible with most analog cameras (400-
900TVL), Night Owl's Analog HD (AHD) and HD Analog (HDA) cameras. If the
camera's video quality either day or night is degraded, you may need to change
the cable run from the camera to the DVR. This system is designed to work with
CL2 UL Rated cabling or better"


My opinionated summary:
Night Owl is not as good of a brand as others - strike 1
Coax wired - strike 2
Deceptive ad due to omission of information - strike 3

Thus at this price point I recommend getting a better IP PoE kit
