Resubmit Newegg Rebate process

229 57 January 10, 2018 at 09:25 AM
Got a couple emails letting me know two of my recent Newegg rebates were declined because I did not include the invoice. In the past I've printed that Order Info thing from Newegg's site and gotten them approved(three times that I can remember), but apparently things have changed in the last two months?

I've printed the "invoices" that were emailed to me the day after my orders, I'm assuming that's what they want. The instructions are as follows:

1 - Kindly click on http://newegg.4myrebate.com/Claim...********** to resubmit.

2 - Once you complete Step #1, simply reprint and sign your rebate application from the Rebate Status page by clicking on the link that reads "Print Your Rebate".

3 - Include any missing documentation and/or information that we have listed above as the reason(s) for your claim being denied.

4 - Send your printed rebate along with all required documentation to the PO Box address indicated on the rebate application. For your convenience the rebate application contains a mailing label with the preprinted address.

5 - In order for your claim to be re-considered, you must to resubmit within 30 days from the date that your original rebate application was declined.
6 - For all customer service inquiries, please call:1-855-960-4467 Mon. - Fri. 9-6 pm (EST) or send an email to: newegg@help.4myrebate.com.

There is no such link referred to in step 2. There is a link letting me view the original rebate application, so I did click that and reprinted.

I'm assuming that "all required documentation" referred to in step 4 doesn't mean the original UPC which I obviously no longer have. They did let me access their scan of it, so I'm assuming that's good enough.

Sort of an aside, the preprinted address that *was* present on both forms when I originally printed the forms last month has been deleted. Inside the "label" it just says "Rebate Processing" and below that the offer number, the address is gone. Weird. I hope they're not moving the facility and I'm going to send my 'bates to the wrong place.

About the address:
They seem to have a new PO Box address, not sure if its only for the holiday extra loads. But the old forms reprints do not show the old address any more.

I just did the resubmit process yesterday. There is a button that says print rebate. It looks just like it did for the original rebate I printed. They gave me another 30 days to correct a mistake I made when I submitted the rebate the first time.

if you sent them the invoice and not the receipt then you can submit it thru the rebate website
