it should be mounted TOWARDS the area with the most TV reception towers in your area, regardless of visibility. Even placed against a brick wall facing the TV towers will net better reception than on a window facing away.

I have Mohu leaf and it is behind TV and works. No need to mount near window.

Not anywhere near me. Maybe in 1992 it was that price.

The concept is good but the placement is terrible. You will certainly see a cable running from your TV all the way to this antenna placed near the window. That's the only way to get decent signals

But how else you want this to have a better signal? Assuming mounting it hidden from sight doesn't work.

Good one. Might get this for my sister. For me, I spent $8 more bucks to get an outside antenna for 150 miles range. Little wiring to do but well worth it for me.

WTH, why not -- just cut the cord and shady stream sites have all kinds of connection/buffering issues so this should help with live sports.

Isn't this only helpful though if you live out in the country and the signal is weak? If you live in town having a big antenna like that doesn't make it better.

I heard that if you live 10-15 miles from tv towers in your city or town that it's not got to get a 50 mile one and that it will pick up too much interference. Is there truth to that cause i have never had any luck with these but i also have never tried one that is like a 25 mile range one.

True but these days you get all sorts of hidden obstacles & statics which is hard to aim. The antenna in the link is not that big, pretty small actually. I have a few indoor in the past and none worked that good until this outdoor one. Might just be my situation and the location that I'm in.
