Moto Z Play Unlocked Smartphone $269

B&H has the Moto Z Play on sale for $269 with free expedited shipping. This phone is no longer available through Verizon due to the Z2 Play being released. The Z2 Play is only marginally more powerful and doesn't hold a candle to the original Z Play's battery life which is exceptional.

This phone was never available through Verizon... because this is unlocked and the unlocked Play only supports GSM. The unlocked Z2 Play does support CDMA, however.

Actually Verizon only ever sold the Z Droid and the Z Droid Force, not the Z Play.

Minor correction: Verizon had their own Z Play as well, the Z Play Droid: https://www.verizonwireless.com/s...lay-droid/

You're right, however - this deal is for the GSM-only model. Z2 Play supports both (CDMA & GSM).

Looking for a 4 GB, 64GB+, Solid Battery , Nice Camera, Water Resistant (optional) Phone..
300 -500$

Can't trigger on anything.
Deal on z2 Force seems good.. but not happy with battery as i saw reviews..
Wife is using Moto G5 Plus.. So dont want to repeat it..

For 530$, oneplus seems good option.. but not water resistant for that price tag..
Waiting for samsung to come down..

Any suggestions please and deals

Your technically right, but I disagree.

It's called the Moto Z Play Droid. Just as much as the unlocked has a Moto Z Droid, there was the Verizon version of this phone. So, no, the didn't sell this EXACT model, but then Verizon didn't sell any "Unlocked" Moto last year if you want to be nitpicky... Though if you want to be really nitpicky, Verizon models are inherently GSM unlocked, you just miss some LTE bands.

I bet you could find a decent deal on the LG G6. With "only" the sd821 CPU it was forgotten about when the S8 came out.

Not sure what it goes for now, but it seems to check all your boxes.

The Moto X4 looks decently priced, stock Android, water-resistance but I see iffy reviews on the camera and snappiness.

For that budget you can certainly look at some 128gb Pixel XL models in Swappa if you're okay with buying mint condition devices.

There are also a couple of new S8s listed for your price. You can check them out as well. The camera is definitely better on the S8 series when compared to the OnePlus 5T. Plus you get all the bells and whistles.

Go with a S7. That would probably do it.

Moto Z2 Force with a battery mod. I'm using it with the cheaper Moto battery mod and go to bed with 40-50 % battery.

Shame this one won't work on Verizon. I'm about to switch one of my lines from Mint to Red Pocket Verizon and would love to have one of these. Frown
