I would have bought one if they had pedals.
Of course, you know it wouldn't be a balance bike then Smilie

It's actually easier to transition kids to regular bikes without training wheels later as the hardest thing about bike riding (balance) they learn by using these.

training wheels actually inhibit the learning because children come to rely on not needing to balance.

I wanted to jump on this, as I have a growing toddler at home that could eventually use it, but if you look around further on Amazon at the same bike with different listings, some also from the same seller, you'll see primarily mediocre reviews.
Most seem to agree on horrible directions. Some had missing pieces or ended up with a frame that was welded incorrectly. Some also mention that they had an earlier discount of half off these bikes as well. Many also mention that the height, although adjustable, doesn't go low enough for an average size child below 3.
It's a great price for sure, but I think I'm going to avoid for the potential let down factor and possible problems. Even with Amazon's fairly easy returns, I just lean that this is going to be one of those get what you pay for type of items.

Nonetheless OP, I appreciate the post and best of luck for those ordering!

I've been scouring for used Strider Bikes for my boy about to be 3. "Gently Used" might be the way to go with these types of purchases if you're near a suburb or city.

Or get the banana bike for $59 which will guarantee higher quality since kids will be on them and I want to believe most of us don't want to buy a potentially flawed, shoddily built product for them to use.
