This is a very good speaker for the price. However, it's a couple of years old and the company is basically out-of-business. That's probably the reason for the good price.

I have several mini-Jambox and one of these BIG 'uns. As I was buying the mini's from BB at good prices, they never told me the company was closing and there was no more support for the "Jawbone app," etc. Nonetheless you can always still link with Bluetooth and it's a good speaker. The "BIG" is of course much better-sounding than the mini. The "mini" is good but can only get so much bass from a 1" speaker.

I know you can't do the Left/Right thing like you can with some systems. (where you buy 2 and assign 1 to left and 1 to right).

The other concern would be that once the Li-Ion battery goes bad, you are probably out-of-luck. But that basically applies to most products these days anyway. Buy-dispose-upgrade. Buy-dispose-upgrade.
