B & H has the Nintendo Switch kit with blue/red Joy-Cons and Super Mario Odyssey game for $354.98. Free expedited shipping and no tax outside of New York and New Jersey. Bundle is not discounted, but saving over $30 on taxes made the deal for me (in California).

No tax makes this roughly a $40 total discount (with the game at 59.99). Not bad at all.

And sales tax for most people. Possibly some cash back from third parties

Wait three months after X-mas. You will find three month old switches on the "list" that "craig" built for half.

That would really surprise me TBH. It's the best selling console that has not dipped in price since release and was selling out everywhere it was in stock the last I looked

Yeah, I see at least two a week across Facebook marketplace and CL for under $300. Stock doesn't seem to be as much of an issue right now, even though it's still a hot ticket item.

It was a huge item this year for X-mas because they could actually be purchased.

Kids get bored quick. I look for a massive amount of these to hit CL in March/April, when it starts to warm up outside and they start collecting a little dust.

Can't you say that about pretty much every system that's abundant?

I find it funny people reselling these on Craigslist/OfferUp for the same price as retail. Like it's in short supply and they got what everyone wants.

Everyone on Craigslist around here thinks it's March 2017 and lists opened, scratched, dust filled consoles for $600. All the gaming PC's are also three years old and priced at a $500 premium above whatever they would have payed for parts two years before they built it, usually they include a list of components with the pre-release prices of all their decades-old components conveniently summed up so you can see what a great deal you're getting.

Agreed, just took a look around the local CL and all the Switch 'bundles' with games I don't want are asking basically full MSRP for every item. One was about 20 bucks less than MSRP... wowzers. Are people paying this for used ones? Seems silly, though if you're paying ask price on CL you're doing it wrong anyway.

Mmmm fair point, maybe these people would part with their consoles for a fair price if you offered it. I haven't made any offers because the asking prices have been so unreasonable.

Some of the posts with unreasonable prices have said "price is firm" though, so I know some of the sellers seriously think they can get MSRP for their used console with zero quality guarantees or return policy. I would assume they think they can price gouge because they think Nintendo Switches are still hard to come by, which is false.

Blinq offers refurbished units for $235 and they're an actual company, you can pay with credit card for points/cashback, and it comes with a 30 day return plan. And still people were debating whether it was a good deal for a used unit. I feel like if you're paying $200 for a used unit on CL (no possibility to return, no cashback, no quality assurance) you're being completely ripped off, so if their asking price is MSRP and they're not even acknowledging that a used console isn't worth MSRP, trying to talk them down to what I think is a fair price of $200 seems like a wasted effort.
